I don’t mean to be preachy by any means but I think its time that the youth of America starts buckling down and getting in gear. So many kids are just too quick to take out student loans and in-turn they are just putting themselves in a massive hole for years to come. What kids need to do is start looking into scholarships for high school seniors and making the effort to get free money rather then borrowed money.
The reason I don’t think kids look at these options very much is because it takes more work. Its really easy to just take out a loan, but to go and apply for a scholarship can take a lot of work. I am not saying that all kids are lazy but there are so many scholarships out there today that there is no reason students shouldn’t all be applying to them. I just don’t understand it.
